The region of Waterloo should start erecting interesting looking bike racks.
Here is David Byrne singer of "The Talking Heads" designs of bike racks in New York City.

Also to add, David byrne has been an avid cyclist for years taking not only musical equipment on the road but also his bicycle.

Check out his book "Bicycle Diaries" and read an excerpt from the book.

Any interesting ideas for art bike racks throughout the Region?

I appreciate the genunine intent on bike rack design to also please the eye. (I'm also a professional librarian by formal training and for a good part of my career.)

But sometimes the arty designs may not always be super practical to lock up alot of bikes easily.

For K-W, how about a parade of Conestoga Wagons..unique.
