Bill, as a former KCAC member, I've been pleased to see the work the Committee has done in keeping Council informed, and keeping citizens engaged, on cycling issues. I do hope that the Committee will continue to attract people who are staunch advocates of cycling in all its forms, and who understand how to work effectively in an advisory committee capacity.

It accomplishes a great deal for the cause of cycling in Kitchener if Council perceives its cycling citizens as a source of workable ideas towards important ends. We all benefit if the Advisory Committee is seen to balance firm convictions with a collegial approach. If any readers have skills or experience in those directions, I would strongly encourage them to get involved.
